Two women. One big idea.

Friends and family would come over, notice the little things, the diningware, the detergent, the bedsheets, and start asking where they were from.

Co-founders, Michelle and Serene began to understand: people weren't moved by being told how to live.

They were moved by seeing it, up close, in a real home.

Two women. One big idea.

Co-founders, Michelle and Serene began to understand: people weren't moved by being told how to live.

They were moved by seeing it, up close, in a real home.

So they opened the doors.

The people were already here, curious and looking for better ways to live.
So were the brands, homegrown and making things worth keeping.
The only thing missing was a room big enough for everyone.

So they built it: an open house for the whole city, where living lighter isn't just within reach, it is something you genuinely want.

Singapore had everything.
Except this.

The people were already here, curious and looking for better ways to live.
So were the brands, homegrown and making things worth keeping.
The only thing missing was a room big enough for everyone.

So they built it: an open house for the whole city, where living lighter isn't just within reach, it is something you genuinely want.

2022. The first open house. A four-storey shophouse reimagined as a shop-the-home playground, the exact feeling that Michelle and Serene wanted to share. 40+ local brands.

The first phygital checkout Singapore had seen. Every single guest went home having planted a tree.

A small start. But the right one.

2023. We moved into Castlery's flagship along Orchard Road. 70+ local brands.

Our first global-local collaborations, with artists, makers, and innovators crossing disciplines. The community was finding its footing. And honestly, so were we.

2024. We were brought to the newly opened New Bahru to host our biggest edition including an outdoor space. Homed 80+ local brands alongside global partners like Mercedes-Benz, Samsonite, and Nespresso.

17,000 people came through. Each one left having planted a tree. The roots were growing.

2025. GREEN-HOUSE had grown into something none of us really saw coming.

 19,000+ guests across nine themed zones at Temasek Shophouse. 40+ free workshops. The world's first life-size 3D-printed G-Class that turns into furniture.

After three years and 250,000 trees planted on land globally, we looked to the seas, and locally. Now, with NParks' 100K Corals Initiative, GREEN-HOUSE is contributing to local reef restoration efforts.

Good festivals leave you with a full bag. Great ones leave the world a little better.

HangOut was born from a different question: what if we went smaller, and deeper? What if, we found the people already looking, and simply gave them a space to find each other?
